Take a Good Look at the New Volvo XC90 R-Design
Volvo has let loose images of the new XC90 R-Design and it's quite a handsome car. We've got all the details on the UK-spec model, which starts at just under $75,000. This puts it only a smidge below the price of a the BMW X5 to keep it competitive. The XC90 R-Design has 20-inch alloy wheels, a blacked-out grille, tinted rear windows and power front sport seats with memory. There is also black headlining, sports pedals, and an infotainment system with a huge 12.3-inch screen. There's even a special custom made R-Design key fob that you can twirl on your finger to show off. RELATED: See More of the 2016 Volvo XC90 R-Design
The UK-spec will come with three different engine types. There will be a D5 diesel, T6 gas, and T8 Twin Engine gas-electric plug-in hybrid. The R-Design will also have Volvo's Adjustable Steering Force and paddle shifts with a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel.
According to AutoCar, Volvo has not ruled out an XC that will handle the track. Could it be an XC90 Polestar? We'll have to wait and see on that one.
