Star Wars Fans, Your Stormtrooper Fiat 500e Awaits
Need a reason to hightail it to the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show? If you’re a fan of Star Wars and plan on seeing The Force Awakens, let this be reason enough. Earlier this week, Fiat uncloaked this one-off Fiat 500e at the LA event, which is—as you’ve surely guessed—styled in the likeness of a Stormtrooper’s helmet. But it doesn’t pay homage to just any old Stormtrooper. No, this custom car tips its hat to the upcoming film’s new First Order Legion troopers—sleeker, edgier, but likely just as terrible with a blaster rifle as before. Italy’s Garage Italia Customs penned the design as part of a Fiat and Lucasfilm collaboration, and if you attend the auto show, you surely aren’t apt to miss it. You may remember Uber unleashed a fleet of Dodge Charger Stormtrooper cars in New York City on September’s “Force Friday.” While those galactic warriors were said to be covered with white-and-black vehicle wraps, this Fiat 500e Stormtrooper is said to be a bit more permanent, and comes sporting two-tone paint along with black visor-esque window wraps. And the custom job isn’t just skin deep.
Inside, the “First Order” Fiat keeps with the black-and-white theme and fits seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara, plus a steering wheel with a Stormtrooper head decal right inside. You know, just in case you forget what car you’re sat in. Smaller Stormtrooper head decals replace the hood ornament and wheel caps.

Behind the scenes, the Star Wars Fiat 500e is still powered by the same 111 horsepower electric motor and lithium-ion battery pack, which can net around 122 mpge in the city. No word on whether the car’s sound system plays only the “Imperial March” music or if the shield generators need to be deactivate upon entry, but we’ll imagine so.
