Yes, You Can Buy David Beckham's Range Rover Sport
Whether you call it soccer or football, there’s one player’s name that just about any fan in the world will recognize—David Beckham. On and off the field, Beckham is unquestionably a superstar (you don’t win six Premier League titles by loafing around). Expectedly, he drives like a superstar too. Back in 2007, Beckham purchased this svelte Range Rover Sport 4x4, the super-luxe and supercharged SUV choice of the stars. He then enlisted the UK’s A. Kahn Design to customize it, allegedly to the tune of £100,000 ($152,000). It now looks positively brutal and on December 5th it very well could be yours. The David Beckham Range Rover will cross the auction block in the UK, estimated to gavel for between £23,000 and £25,000 ($35,000 and $38,000). While many celebrities seemingly miss the mark with tasteful car customization, David Beckham really couldn’t have been more right in his custom touches. The Range Rover Sport sits low on black five-spoke alloy wheels, boasts a blacked-out grille, darkened head- and taillights, and the A. Kahn body kit. Around back that supercharged 4.2-liter V8 burbles from a quad and staggered chrome exhaust. Imagine those pipes at full tilt.
Inside, the Range Rover is said to be equipped with every option conceivable, along with custom hand-stitched quilted leather seats and door panels, dual TV screens for rear passengers, and a Genesis sound system with a pair of big subwoofers in the trunk. The Beckham name is even embroidered onto the floor mats, and found on a plaque that reads “Designed for David Beckham.”

Going on eight years old and with 62,000 miles to its name, it’s still a car that looks remarkably fresh…perhaps Victoria Beckham’s design tastes rubbed off on her famous footballer husband. In 2012, Victoria Beckham helped put the finishing touches on a special edition Range Rover Evoque, which retailed for over $100,000. Quite the “posh” rides, wouldn’t you say?
