Watch a Motorcycle Burnout on Top of an iPhone
It's fun to do burnouts and there are plenty of videos out there with people creating glorious clouds of smoke and rubber. These usually involve a vehicle sitting on some kind of pavement, but this guy had a different idea. He did a burnout with his motorcycle tire sitting on top of an iPhone. According to CarBuzz, YouTuber TechRax hasn't completely lost his mind. His shtick is taking all kinds of technology and seeing how creatively he can destroy it for his viewers. This time, he took a new iPhone 6S and put it beneath the rear wheel of a Ducati 916. RELATED: Pricey Tires? Burnout Your Ferrari on Grass
He first built a special holder to keep the iPhone in place while the bike's wheel spun on the screen. At the start of it all, the phone works perfectly. He shows it off, even demonstrating Force Touch to prove that it's all in order. Once he sets the phone in its custom cradle, the engine starts and the rubber flies.
The Ducati's wheels spin and when they stop, the iPhone is covered with melted rubber. It's so hot it can't even be touched and they pop it free with a key. The big question is will this poor tortured device still work? Watch the video and find out.
