Caitlyn Jenner's 1982 Celebrity Racing Suit Up For Auction
A unique piece of celebrity memorabilia is currently up for auction and it will appeal to those who are racing fans and those who have been keeping up with the Kardashians. Caitlyn Jenner (then Bruce) participated in the 1982 Celebrity Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, and the driving suit he wore could be yours for the right price. Jenner actually won the race, which was run on April 3, 1982 and featured a field of professionals and celebrities. They ran 10 laps to benefit Orange County children's hospitals. According to TMZ, the suit has been in the hands of a private collector who decided to sell now that Caitlyn is in the headlines. The suit has Jenner's name embroidered across the right pocket and "Team Toyota," "Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach LBGP," and "Bridgestone" patches on the left breast. There are also patches on both sleeves. The right arm has "Team Toyota" and "Simpson Helmets" while the left arm has "Simpson Safety Equiptment" and "Larry Mahan's Cowboy Collection."
The auction is live at Nate D. Sanders with a minimum bit of $5,000. If that's within your budget, don't get too excited. They expect the final price on this racing suit to be around $20,000.
