'Tis the season — football season that is. There’s no professional sport more macho with hard-hitting action and testosterone just flowing in abundance. Unless you’re the Jacksonville Jaguars. The website Swapalease surveyed consumers and asked them what NFL team they associated with which vehicle. They also asked what accessories car buyers want but who cares about that.
Our favorite association (after the minivan driving Jaguars, of course) is the Oakland Raiders. People associate them with stolen cars. That’s pretty bad ass. Not so bad ass is the Buffalo Bills. People equate them with the Smartfortwo — probably one of the most useless cars on the road today.

It makes sense that people associate the Dallas Cowboys most with pickup trucks. After all, Texas is truck country. It also makes sense they didn’t associate them with delivery trucks because America’s team hasn’t brought home a Super Bowl championship since 1996.
The Seattle Seahawks, last year’s NFC champs, are certainly upscale in most folks’ minds. They remind people of both the Tesla and a Lamborghini. Must be all that Microsoft money floating around Puget Sound.

Finally, you have da Bears. Chicago’s NFL team most reminds the car-buying public of a Dodge with too many miles on it.
