Pretty in Purple: McLaren Readies One-Off 570S For Pebble Beach
This weekend marks one of the most extravagant events in all the automotive calendar: The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The concours event is host to some of the rarest and most expensive cars ever to grace a golf course, and this year should be no different. In honor of the exclusive event, McLaren has dropped details on a very exclusive 570S. Done up by the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) division, this one-of-a-kind 570S coupe is rocking the purple paint job hard—though, McLaren is calling it “Mauvine Blue.” RELATED: See More of the McLaren 570S Coupe MSO
Nevertheless, it’s a stunning looking machine, and it goes as good as it looks. Under the hood is a 562-horsepower twin-turbo V8 that’s good for a 0-60 mph time of just 3.2 seconds. You’re also looking at a top speed of 204 mph.
Alongside the 570S, McLaren will have its always pretty 675LT with a special MSO getup, and a unique 650S Le Mans edition. Those two cars—the 675 and 650S—will represent McLaren's core “Super Series” range, and celebrate a long and storied racing history. Both of those we should see later this week.

If you do manage to make it to Pebble Beach, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for these exclusive McLarens, not that they’ll be all that hard to find.
