Theophilus Chin renders the possibilities

Since the 60s, the Nissan (formerly Datsun) Z has been a calling card for enthusiasts; what with its light weight and sporty handling. And since 2002, the revived 350 and 370Z have carried on the iconic name quite well. But it’s time for an overhaul, don’t you think?

Thanks to the crafty hands of graphic rendering artist Theophilus Chin, we can envision a newer, lighter Z car that is inevitably on the horizon. The car takes many modern Nissan design cues, molds them with the general shape of the current Z, and makes for one relatively attractive new vehicle.

Could This Be the Look of the New Nissan Z Car?

So far, Nissan hasn’t confirmed when they’ll actually have a new Z on the market, but rumors and reports suggest that it will indeed be light, and likely have a four-cylinder engine to boot. It could even go as far as boasting a hybrid drivetrain and a targa top. Though, all these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. Whatever the case, we’ll definitely be looking out for a new one in the next few years.
