This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Transformed Into a 200 MPH Ford GT
This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is sure to grab your attention with its striking bright yellow and options. What should really grab your attention, though, is the "Ford GT" emblems just behind the front wheels and on the trunk. What's that all about? The car started its life with a 250 horsepower 5.8-liter Cleveland V8 engine. It was a good engine for the time, but it's not even close to what we've got in today's muscle cars. This classic had all of the looks without all of the power to back it all up (at least by 2015's standards). That's why the owner of this Mustang made a few 'special' modifications and pretty much turned it into a Ford GT. RELATED: See More of the Original 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302
These photos by Redditor MonsterCarlo show off a mid-engine Mustang with a 5.4-liter supercharged Ford engine. It could also be a re-bodied GT, but that would be crazy difficult to pull off, so we're likely looking at a car that started life as a Mustang. That should makes things a whole lot more exciting when you're behind the wheel.
Where the engine used to sit, there's now a fuel tank, which does beg the question of how will this thing drive with the completely new weight distribution. The top speed also got a nice increase and is probably up over 200 mph, making this a wholly different car than it was when it first rolled off the line.

It's definitely a sight to see.
