Rickie Fowler's Spotted With His Mercedes-AMG GT S
In early May of this year, Rickie Fowler put on a stunning performance down in Florida. He came from behind in the final round of the The Player's Championship to claim victory at TPC Sawgrass. When asked after the win about a floating opinion that he was overrated, he simply tapped the prize trophy and mentioned it could do the talking for him. Now he has a new trophy to point to. This picture popped on the Mercedes-Benz Instagram this week. Fowler took part in a #MBPhotosPass program before this week's U.S. Open at Chamber's Bay. He had some drive time with the 510-horsepower Mercedes-AMG GT S. And judging by his caption to the top photo, it seems he's going to get to keep the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 in his garage. "Home safe and sound!" he wrote. "Ready for a great week on course! Off the course I can't wait to get more seat time in the AMG GTS!! #MBPhotoPass @RickieFowler."
Unfortunately, he didn't make the cut at the major. Even so, this should be able to pretty accurately explain his mood:
