Voice of William Daniels is not included
Two hundred grand is a lot of cash. That check could buy a decent house in the midwest. Or it could buy approximately 780 shares of Tesla stock. Or it could buy you 183 years worth of eating a single slice of 2 Bros cheese pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day. Or it could get you in range for buying this Knight Rider Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT) 1982 Pontiac Trans Am that was actually used by David Hasselhoff on set.
On June 26 and 27, Julien's Live Auctions will sell off a group of items from "Hollywood Legends" in Beverly Hills, Calif. Lot 551 of 1042 in the sale is Michael Knight's KITT car. Though the voice of William Daniels is not included, the winner of the vehicle will be able to say he owns the only remaining KITT from the original show. It comes with the full gear, including that signature futuristic dash and the red scanning sensor in the hood. You'll also get "a group of studio call sheets and maps indicating where the vehicle was used and which cast members were present."
Though there are plenty of jank KITT replicas floating around the world (People REALLY like Hasselhoff. Like, really, really like him), this original model is rare enough to expect a $200,000-$300,000 pay off. Bid at your leisure.
