Relive the Touching Tale of Miles Scott With This 'Batkid Begins' Trailer
Nearly two years ago, society came together to celebrate one individual. First it was a small group of adults, then it was an entire city, then the Internet, and people from all over the world. Even the President got in on the action. In a rare moment of togetherness, it was all about Batkid, five-year old Miles Scott. He saved a city that day, and now it's his turn to star in a movie. This is the first trailer for Batkid Begins, a documentary about the story of how Miles' dreams came to life thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. After being diagnosed with Leukemia, Miles just wanted to save Gotham City (San Francisco). Of course, in order to do that a few Lamborghini Batmobiles were absolutely necessary. RELATED: Surprise! According to the Warner Brothers, "The film looks at the 'why' of this phenomenon. Why did the intense outpouring of spontaneous support for a five-year-old reverberate around the world?" It will follow executive director of the San Francisco Make-A-Wish Patricia Wilson as she and her team brought it all together.
Batkid Begins comes out June 26.
