Watch a Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow Race Some Sled Dogs
File this one under match-ups you never expected to see. The folks at Nissan have taken the Juke Nismo RSnow and pitted it against something with no horsepower, but plenty of dog power: a dogsled that races the car across the frozen tundra. A few months ago when much of the northern parts of the US were buried up to their eyeballs in snow, both the dogsled and the Juke RSnow looked like good options for the morning commute. Now that the world has thawed out, watching the RSnow plow through the drifts will make you start to thinking about what you're going to do next winter. Aside from the tracks that make it perfectly suited to all that snow, the fascias have been trimmed for some extra clearance and the torque-vectoring all-wheel drive was reprogrammed to let the RSnow manage the drifts. The car was built to support an ice-driving event in Lapland, Finland, where they likely laugh at our concept of a cold, snowy winter.
The RSnow has no trouble managing the snowy terrain to meet up with its dogsled friends when things are over. The dogs look a little put out. Bet they would have loved a ride inside the RSnow instead of doing it the hard way.
