Miami Dolphins Player A.J. Francis is Giving Uber Rides

It's not an easy thing to become a professional football player. It takes years of hard work, pushing through injuries, and being completely focused on your goals to finally make a team. One of the perks when you get there is a hefty paycheck, but one Miami Dolphins player still wants to make a little on the side. That player would be defensive lineman A.J. Francis who drives a Dodge Charger and is making some extra money as an Uber driver, assuming he passes the application process. A.J. is an undrafted free agent who was on injured reserve last season and hasn't played in a regular-season game. So his football future is somewhat uncertain. That might be part of why he decided to expand his options. RELATED: See More of The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat It still sounds a little crazy, so he took to Twitter to explain his actions. He first let the world know that he had applied to drive for Uber and then tweeted, "People ask me why would you want to be an @uber driver if you play in the NFL... You know what's better than NFL money? More money." If A.J. happens to show up to give you a lift, then you'll get to ride in his brand new white Dodge Charger. His plan is to drive people around through the off-season for up to four hours a day. Better get your autograph book ready if you're summoning Uber in Fort Lauderdale.
