Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Gets a Racy Update

The new Corvette Z06 is a pretty well-equipped piece of machinery. It comes with a 650-horsepower supercharged V8, a track-proven suspension, and a price tag way less than the competition. So, of course, the world needed an even hotter version. It’s called the Z06 C7.R Edition, and it’s a sort of homage to the current generation C7.R race car. It looks gnarly, and on top of the already proven Z06 body, Chevy added even more performance bits. It also comes with a custom paint job including the Corvette Racing Yellow and black scheme you see here, and the option of hard top or convertible. If you want one, you better move fast. Chevrolet says only 500 of these special edition Z06’s will hit the market before they’re all gone for good. No word yet on how much the extra package will cost.
