'Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson Hints He Will Be Sacked

As if the drama surrounding Jeremy Clarkson's suspension from Top Gear couldn't get any more fevered, comments from the BBC motoring presenter at a charity auction in north London have brought tensions to a new level.  According to The Guardian, Clarkson appeared at the charity event to auction off a lap around the Top Gear track, but attendees got a bit more than they bargained for. Clarkson lay into his BBC bosses calling them “f------ bastards” and saying “The BBC have f------ themselves; it was a great show and they f----- it up.” He continued with, “I didn't foresee my sacking but I would like to do one last lap. So I'll go down to Surrey and I'll do one last lap of that track before the f------ bastards sack me. I'll be a bit tearful when I do it, but f--- it, let's do it.” Clarkson did however make light of the situation, saying: “I'll drive somebody around in whatever I can get a hold of. I'm sacked so it's probably an Austin Maestro. So who knows?” VIDEO: James May supports Jeremy Clarkson in hilarious fashion RELATED: Delayed Top Gear episodes will air regardless of suspension The outspoken Clarkson had been relatively quiet on social media channels as of late before his comments at the charity event, though in classic Clarkson humor, he recently changed his Twitter bio to “I am probably a presenter on the BBC2 motoring show, Top Gear.” The BBC released a statement on Thursday noting that all evidence had been collected in the investigation regarding the altercation between Clarkson and a Top Gear producer, and that the findings would officially be presented next week. Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson's current contract and the contracts of co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond are said to expire next month. News regarding the official air dates of the three final episodes of season 22 has yet to be revealed.
