This BMW M5 E9 is Resto-Mod Perfection

What we have for you today is not only a classic BMW, but a classic BMW that has been restored to a rather unique status. Though it may look like it, it hasn’t been thoroughly gone through by BMW’s own heritage department. No, what we have here is one beautifully resto-mod 1970 E9 BMW M5. For those of you that aren’t familiar with resto-mods, these are classic cars that have been changed dramatically to bring the classic nature firmly into the present. That means that the engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brakes are all from new cars. Most resto-mods are in the form of muscle cars since it's pretty easy to find a Chevy small block these days. They didn’t want a conventional resto-mod, but rather, one that stayed true to the BMW DNA. You’ve got the classic lines of the E9, and all that grunt and modernity of the E39 M5 to help make this car (somewhat) livable. At the end of the day you have an amazing looking car, but with all the creature comforts and reliability that come with modern automobiles.
