The GTA Spano Brings V10 Supercars Back to Spain

The 2015 GTA Spano will get an official debut at next month's Geneva Motor Show, but they've released this sneak peek of the car's back end. The rear fascia gets quite an update that includes new lighting and exhausting piping as well as a new shape, but that's about all you can glean from this little teaser. Once that fancy black sheet comes off completely, expect to see lots of carbon fiber, titanium, kevlar, and graphene which has great possibilities for the automotive industry. Graphene is a two-dimensional layer of pure carbon that is 100 times stronger than steel. It can also conduct electricity 30 times faster than silicon and is actually seven times lighter than air when it's in its aerogel form. The new GTA Spano will have an 8.0-liter V10 with two turbos that will produce 925 horsepower and 900 lb-ft of torque to press you back into your seat. This will give the Spanish supercar a 0-62 MPH time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed somewhere over 230 MPH. Once the car makes its debut, only a lucky few have a chance at owning one. Plans call for a production run of just 99 units.
