But it’s not until you venture outside Ford factory doors, to Shelby’s secret lab of power, that you’ll find the new GT. The Shelby GT dishes out a monstrous 627 horsepower. You can even pay extra to have them boost it up to 700 horsepower because Hellcat. That's a whole lot of Mustang. PHOTOS: See More of the 2015 Shelby GT Making its debut at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale this past weekend, the Shelby GT puts to use a supercharged V8, 3.73 gearing, a Borla exhaust, WELD Racing wheels, super sticky Michelin tires and six-piston front brakes. Not to mention a whole new look. Tack on a new front grille, graphics galore, and some really handsome wheels, and the whole package is pulled together quite nicely. It's more dolled up and more powerful than any Mustang you'll find at a local dealer. Bad news is, it won’t be cheap.
