McLaren 650S to Get the GTR Treatment in Geneva

Word is out that McLaren plans to release a GTR version of the 650S, and that we'll all be able to get a look at it next month ahead of a Geneva debut. Details aren't confirmed, but while it will likely lose the 650S badge, plenty of performance capability is a sure thing. The car will come in with higher specs than the existing 650S due to a more powerful 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8. Currently, the 650S delivers 650 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, which is already enough to make your heart race. But this new car will give you even more. It should easily beat the numbers posted by the 650S which has a 0 to 62 mph time of three seconds and can hit 124 mph from a standstill in 8.4 seconds. Go a little faster and you'll do a 0-186 mph run in 25.4 seconds on your way to a top speed of 207 MPH. Autovisie also reports that there will be a few styling changes to make this new car's looks match its more aggressive engine.
