Volvo Trolls Everyone With Hilarious S60 Cross Country

Remember last year when Volvo said big auto shows were pretty much a waste of time? Well this year, the brand is using Detroit to further its argument with a lifted S60 Cross Country that is absolutely hilarious. Whichever Volvo exec came up with this idea is a comic genius. The Vo— wait, this isn’t a joke? They’re actually building this thing? Um, wow, okay. I mean, Volvo's had a history of lifting wagons, but never have they gone so far as to lift an S60. Whatever the case, the totally real and not a joke S60 Cross Country will be on display in Detroit come Monday. It comes with 19-inch wheels, high profile tires and all-wheel drive. For when your lifted sedan comes across some snowy weather, or a shallow river, or an angry shopping cart. There’s also 250 horsepower under the hood, which sort of makes up for the ridiculousness of it all. RELATED: See Photos of the Volvo S60 Polestar It’s definitely weird. But hey, what do I know? Volvo did pretty much invent the lifted wagon after all. Maybe this new, untapped market brings loads of success. Or maybe it will disappear in two years and Volvo will pretend it never happened. Who knows. RELATED: See Photos of the Volvo V60 Wagon _________________________________________ Click Here to Read the Original Article on BoldRide
