Just when you thought last year auctioned off all the super high priced exotic cars you could think of, in comes this phenomenally gorgeous Ferrari. This, my friends, is why I love cars. When I think of Ferrari, I don't think about Formula 1, or any of the road cars. Rather, I think of the glorious times in the '60's when Ferrari dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This special car is just a handful of Ferraris that have actually won the famed 24 hours motor race. What makes this car even more special is that, when it won the endurance race, it wasn't even flying the Ferrari colors. Rather, it was a under a privateer banner, which is almost unheard of today. Without manufacturer backing, it would be next to impossible to win. RELATED: See Photos of the Ferrari LaFerrari Hypercar This 275 GTB uses a 3.3-liter V12 engine that develops over 300 horsepower. But given that the Competizione cars had a lighter chassis and body, and larger double fuel tanks, over 300 horsepower was good enough to take out everyone else in the field. The 275 GTB Competizione is set to cross the auction block today in Scottsdale, Arizona, with Bonhams auctioning the priceless piece of racing history. With all the crazy money classic rare Ferraris have been going for lately, I'd be surprise if it didn't at least break the $10 million mark.
