Ferrari 296 GTB specials dedicated to 30 years in the Middle East
Designed to pay tribute to the Gulf nations, these are 6 GTBs with similar interiors but customised exteriors in every detail
It is exactly 30 years since the arrival of the first Ferrari in the Middle East. To celebrate this important milestone, the House of the Cavallino removed the veils from six very special 296 GTBs on the occasion of the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix - held from 6 to 8 December 2024.
The six sports cars were customised in every detail by the Special Equipment team, within the Personalization and Colour & Trim departments, with exterior colour combinations dedicated to individual Gulf countries and sand-coloured interiors. Here are all the details.
Six unique Ferraris
The personalisation of the six Ferrari 296 GTBs, designed to celebrate the Cavallino brand's presence in the Middle East, focused first and foremost on the exteriors, which were painted in colours designed for the occasion and for each individual country.
For example, for the model dedicated to the United Arab Emirates, Maranello's designers opted to use pearl white as the base colour (see cover photo), whilst for the model dedicated to Saudi Arabia, they chose a unique vibrant green.

Metallic brown, on the other hand, has been chosen to represent Kuwait, while for Qatar an intense but rather dark red has found its place on the bodywork. Finally, a metallic black has been designed for Bahrain and a deep but still metallic blue for Oman.

The lowest common denominator used to configure all of them, however, was Arabian Golden Sheen, a matte sand colour chosen to paint the roof and alloy wheels of each model, combined with an Alcantara Sand interior with embroidered Cavallino in the headrest. Finally, for the first time on this model, the front luggage compartment has been upholstered in leather.

During the presentation of the cars at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Giorgio Turri, General Manager of Ferrari Middle East, commented:
"As the Region continues to grow and prosper, we see a very bright future for Ferrari in the Middle East. The attributes of technological advancement, imaginative innovation and the pursuit of excellence are common to the brand and the nations of the Gulf, and we look forward to a continued journey of prosperity and success as we embark on our fourth decade in this great area of opportunity and ambition."
