Going 118 mph isn’t a big deal — unless you’re in a golf cart. Then you would own the world’s record. That’s a title Plum Quick Motors holds for The Bandit, which set the mark at Darlington Dragway in Hartsville, South Carolina. The fastest golf cart is the 'Bandit' by Plum Quick Motors, which achieved a speed of 191.12 km/h (118.76 mph) when driven by Robby Steen (USA), according to Guinness. The previous record was 14.183 seconds at 103.65 mph. The Beast did the quarter mile in 12.24 seconds. Dodge Challenger Hellcat does it in 11.2 seconds at 125 mph. No word yet if Plum Quick is looking to break its own record - or if someone else will.
