This Xhibitionist Yacht is a Supercar of the Sea
Somewhere in this world, there is a seafaring oligarch – or Hollywood mogul – bent on doing it outrageously bigger and more unique than anyone before. If budget is of no second consideration, said person might want to invest in this, the Xhibitionist. Penned by Swedish studio Gray Design, the Xhibitionist concept is the ultimate in versatile nautical design – less of a private yacht and more of a mobile showroom or exhibition space. It’s intended to rekindle the seagoing allure of old, but if we’re honest – it blows convention right out of the water. If you’re thinking, “Hey, that sort of looks like a supercar,” you’re not far off. Eduard Gray, CEO of Gray Design, has lent his expertise to the design of various supercar shapes and his new Xhibitionist brings forth those automotive lines to the nautical world. In fact, the 246-foot craft even comes with a matching supercar, dubbed the Xhibit-G (also on display in the boat), which resembles a mix between a Mercedes S-Class and the BMW i8. Various Batman comparisons have also fluttered around.
Inside, the Xhibitionist adopts art nouveau styling, complete with intricate lines and flowing curves. The presence of a Steinway piano, sweeping dual staircases, and elegant baccarat lighting complete that turn-of-the-century feeling. Need to entertain guests? The interior layout is adjustable and can shift from entertaining guests, to displaying art, or even providing a retail experience.

But don’t for a minute think this is the stuffy runabout for elderly art shoppers – the Xhibitionist’s exterior is all about the party. Out back a beach club offers sunbathers an area to kick back and relax, while the upper ‘fly deck’ features a jacuzzi, lounging area, and a foldout deck. The platform houses the vessel’s large solar panels, but when not in use can turn the area into a helipad or concert venue – surely enough to get the club going up, on a Tuesday.
