Cops Nab Lamborghini Speeder, Call Him Out on Twitter

The 2015 Lamborghini Huracan is plenty fast, but apparently not as quick as the watchful constabulary of Vancouver. A city police officer tagged one Huracan driver doing double the legal limit, albeit driving 102km/h in a 50km/h zone – the equivalent of going 60 mph in a 30.According to CBC News, the 30-year-old Lamborghini driver was “very shocked” when police pulled him over in the city’s Oakridge neighborhood. He was probably even more shocked when officers handed him a ticket for $368, slapped three points on his license, and impounded the car. And adding insult to injury, Vancouver PD posted the following picture to the force’s Twitter page. How’s that for a zinger? As for the overzealous test driver, I’m not sure any of this is very ‘priceless’ at all.
