Watch a Toyota Prius Do a Burnout, For Real
The Toyota Prius is not the kind of car you'd expect to see doing a burnout. It's not the kind of car you'd expect to see doing anything remotely aggressive or fun or exciting. But here's proof that even a tame car can do a damn impressive burnout. The Prius is probably one of the most reviled cars among auto enthusiasts because, seriously, if we have to explain why people hate the Prius then what are you even doing reading BoldRide? That's why we give the guy behind the wheel of this Prius a lot of credit. He had to work for this burnout. He managed to turn off the car's traction control and then properly harness all 110 horsepower and make the wheels spin like a top. This simply shouldn't be possible, but he pulled it off.
While you sit and marvel that a Prius is capable of a burnout, you can also ponder the bigger question. Who is actually driving this car, and does the poor sap who owns this Prius even know this ever happened?
