New Shelby GT350 Will Be Way Cheaper Than The Camaro Z/28
The new Shelby GT350 has been one of those cars everyone’s been talking about for the last two months. Like the Hellcat when it launched, it’s dominated the news, especially since the reveal at the LA Auto Show two weeks ago. But Ford was fairly mum on many of the details surrounding its newest track oriented Mustang. One glaringly obvious detail Ford neglected was the price. According to Horsepower Kings, though, that price just dropped. $52,995 will be all you need to get yourself into this Super ‘Stang. RELATED: See More of the 500HP Shelby Mustang GT350
As of right now, this number is unconfirmed. But looking at past Shelby prices, that number doesn’t seem too far from reality, even with the new engine costing Ford quite a lot of money to develop.
Hopefully we'll have confirmed numbers soon, but in the meantime, there are recent rumors swirling that Ford is set to drop a GT350R at the Detroit Auto Show. Something that could take the fight directly to GM and the company’s glorious Z/28. Until we can get our hands on Ford’s newest weapon, and get some more details, stay tuned.
