Watch this Cop on a Horse Nab a Show Off Motorcyclist
There’s horsepower and then there’s horse power, as a London motorcyclist recently found out the hard way. After all, what could be more embarrassing than getting pinched by a copper on horseback? Maybe having a video of the whole experience. And a bobby who tells you to keep recording from your GoPro helmet cam so “you can show your friends about the big telling off you got from the policeman on the horse.” RELATED: See photos of a 200MPH Electric Motorcycle
But this motorcyclist was lucky. He got stopped by a cop who happens to drive the same Suzuki GSXR. That appears to be the only reason he cut the guy some slack.
“If a traffic cop saw that, he’d seize that camera as evidence and write it up and you’d be losing your license,” the cop says. Then the motorcylist hears the words that give him hope. “I ride them. I know what they’re capable of.” And then tells the guy, in effect, to cut the BS.

Of course, like anybody pulled over ever, he says he was “only” doing 22 in a 20 mph zone when he lifted his wheel. As he says, “my wheel went a bit up.” Even though his speedometer clearly shows 27 mph before liftoff, just to make sure he doesn’t get busted any way, he claims his sprockets are modified so the speedometer isn’t accurate. [Is that true motorcycle riders?]
The cop makes an excellent point that bears repeating. “You could kill someone else as well as yourself.” Doesn’t seem worth it for a 10-second video clip. Then again this was one lucky SOB.
