Cadillac ATS-V Sedan Gets More Power, More Angles
Two-door luxury sport coupes ain’t your thing? Might we suggest something just as aggressive, but with room enough for three terrified passengers. Enter: the new 2016 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan. With a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6, slow it is not. 455 horsepower comes from under the hood, with your choice of an eight-speed auto box — the same one found on the new Stingray — or a good ol’ fashion six-speed manual. Noting the subtly edgier exterior, the ATS-V gets a new face, new wheels, and a nicer butt. Not to mention that in-your-face hood scoop. Those 18-inch wheels are wrapped in some super sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sports measuring 255/35 in the front, and 275/35 in the back. That’s enough to get you to 60 mph quicker than the BMW M3, probably.
Like its two-door brethren, the ATS-V sedan promises to be an extremely capable, extremely quick family mover. No word on how much it’ll cost, but it should be in showrooms by mid-2015.
