V8 Martini-Liveried Alfa Romeo 4C Makes Other Cars Irrelevant
Think the Alfa Romeo 4C is underpowered? Think it’s not covered in enough iconic racing paint? Boy do I have some good news for you. This is the V8-powered, Martini-liveried Alfa Romeo 4C of your dreams. Actually, everybody’s dreams. According to AutoGespot, one Rome-based design studio is thinking of building this lovely, wonderful little car. It’s going to have a V8 from a Ferrari, two turbos, and a theoretical 738 horsepower. All that in a car that will hypothetically only weigh 2,100 lbs and get to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds thanks to 532 lb.-ft. of torque. RELATED: See Photos of the 4-Cylinder Alfa Romeo 4C
Lazzarini — the company responsible — says they can probably build one for about €250,000 ($312,000), which is somewhere between Ferrari 458 and Lamborghini Aventador type money. Not bad considering you’d have a car that would blow them out of the water, hypothetically, with a quarter-mile time of 9.5 seconds at 137 mph.
This car needs to be on the street. Immediately.
