Watch This 2,000HP Lamborghini Crash at 200MPH
At the end of a race, it can be a challenge for drivers to just keep it cool, slow down, and drive off the track after the adrenaline rush. It's too easy to crash. The driver of a Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra learned this the hard way after losing a race and then losing contact with the track. The contest was between the Lamborghini and a Nissan GT-R, but these were far from ordinary versions of these two cars. Both are modified twin-turbos with over 2,000 horsepower so when they move, they really move. The Lamborghini has a Heffner twin turbo tune and is affectionately called Double Trouble by its friends. The race goes well enough, with the Lamborghini losing to the Nissan despite hitting 228 mph when it crossed the finish line. The driver of the Lamborghini then loses control of the car and goes sliding off the track in a cloud of dirt.
A few moments later, he reappears in the video, none the worse for wear, but with his shiny Lamborghini covered in a thick layer of dust. Luckily neither car nor driver were hurt in the mishap.
