6 Boldest Rides of the Miami Auto Show
Miami, South Beach, the 305— whatever you want to call it, South Florida is a huge market for the auto industry. That’s why the Miami International Auto Show is one of the largest in the country, and is home to a host of new reveals alongside million dollar exotics. The show runs all this week. If you’re planning on stopping by, these are the six cars you need to see (click on the links to learn more). Dodge Charger Hellcat
The Dodge Charger Hellcat is the most talked about car of the year. Obviously. And it's those 707 horses are the ones doing all the talking.
This is one of the first shows on the national circuit the Hellcat has made an appearance at. We don’t doubt we’ll be seeing a few of these taking over the streets of South Florida.
Ferrari 458 Speciale
Speciale is an understatement. The Ferrari 458 Speciale wasn’t a showstopper at this year’s event (I’ll get to that one next), but the 597 horsepower track toy wasn’t one to be overlooked.
Showstopper indeed. Introduced with the help of Prestige Imports — one of only four dealers in the country selling it – the $1.5 million Pagani Huayra has a monstrous twin-turbo V12 and over 720 horsepower. Not to mention all that carbon fiber. Delicious.
Chevrolet Corvette Z06
The Corvette Z06 features a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and 650 horsepower making it one of the most powerful sports cars around. It looks good too with new aerodynamics, a lower center of gravity and one mean design.
Lexus RC F
While the rest of the cars on this list are packing some serious heat, let’s not forget about the lovely Lexus RC F. With 467 horsepower, it ain’t no slouch either, but it’s those aggressive looks that really catch your eye.
Hyundai Genesis Custom
The mods are strong with this one. While most of the aftermarket world is at SEMA, this Hyundai Genesis coupe somehow found its way down to Miami. Dropped, painted, perfect.
