Ken Block’s 845HP Mustang is the Most Insane Car at SEMA
Today marked the opening of the 2014 SEMA show in Vegas. And while there’s bound to be plenty to look at, there’s one car that should stand above the rest in terms of total insanity and overall kickassery. That car being the all-wheel drive, 845-horsepower Mustang Hoonicorn imagined by Ken Block. It's essentially a 65 Mustang, slammed, stretched, and covered in Block's racing gear. And those 845 horses? Well they reside in a Roust Yates 410 cubic inch V8. It also features a six-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive— that’s right, all-wheel drive on a Mustang. Seriously, it's insane. RELATED: See More of the 845HP Ken Block Mustang
The project took nearly two years to build at ASD Motorsports in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is getting a starring role in Block’s Gymkhana 7 video, which should be happening later in the year. Goodbye Fiesta, hello monster Mustang.
The Hoonicorn will make its live debut in SEMA this week. You really need to see this thing.
