Kia 2025: All the new upcoming models
We expect the EV2 and a GT version of the EV9 as well as an update for the Sportage ...
Kia's two main electric car new models for 2025 will be the EV2 and the EV9 GT. The EV2 will be Kia's most affordable electric vehicle, while the performance EV9 will be Kia's most powerful production model.
Not to be forgotten, the long-awaited relaunch of the Sportage, which will revamp the exterior and interior of one of the best-selling C-segment SUVs in Europe.

In principle, the small electric Kia will be around 4 metres long (30 centimetres shorter than the EV3) and offer a generous amount of space thanks to its 2.56 metre wheelbase. Two battery options are expected: a 42 kWh battery with LFP chemistry and a 62 kWh NMC battery, which will provide a range of 186 and 273 miles respectively according to the WLTP cycle.
The price, which has not yet been announced, is expected to be between €20,000 and €30,000 (approx. £17,000 and £25,000) to compete with models such as the Volkswagen ID.2, the Cupra Raval and the Fiat Grande Panda.

Kia Sportage facelift
Kia Sportage 2025, Teaser
As usual with facelifts, the main changes to the Kia Sportage for 2025 are centred on the front end. The updated model will feature a front end reminiscent of the design of current Kia models such as the Sorento. There will also be LED daytime running lights with a new light signature, a slimmer radiator grille and a slightly revised bumper.
At the rear, the tail lights will have a new design. There should also be an updated bumper. The current powertrains will be retained in principle, as the compact SUV will continue to be available with petrol and mild hybrid diesel engines, a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid.

Following the 203 PS and 384 PS versions, the EV9 will also receive a more powerful GT version. Aesthetically, the differences will lie in a few details, while there will be major changes under the exterior. It is expected that the battery-powered seven-seater SUV will have the same twin-motor configuration as the 585 PS EV6 GT, but given its larger dimensions, it is possible that the power output of this Kia will exceed 600 PS.
The GT is expected to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 4 seconds, only half a second faster than the EV6 GT. Prices, which have not yet been finalised, are expected to start at a minimum of 85,000 euros (£70,000).
