Chevrolet Wants YOU to Name this Camaro
Do you feel that? Do you feel the power? You should, because Chevrolet recently built a special edition Camaro – set to debut next spring – and it’s leaving the naming process up to you. Tentatively monikered the ‘2015 Spring Special Edition Camaro’, Chevy has launched the #NameThatCamaro campaign on Twitter and Facebook as part of National Name Your Car Day. Submit the best name and you could find it plastered on the rear deck of this Camaro SS when it makes its debut next month at SEMA in Las Vegas. Donning a unique Emerald Green Metallic color scheme and available in both coupe and convertible 2SS trims, the special edition Camaro SS packs in a bevy of extra features for the most selective among you. An RS Appearance Package brings HID headlights, LED taillights, and an RS-specific front-grille. An SS hood extractor, ZL1 rear spoiler, racing stripes, and 21-inch chrome wheels complete the lean, mean and green look.
Point and squirt performance comes from the Camaro’s 6.2-liter V8, which produces 426-horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque with the standard six-speed manual, though a slightly down-powered automatic version is available. So what to call it?

As expected, the naming process has already begun online and there are quite a few interesting nominations. Some of our favorites include: Camaro NV (it’s green, get it?), Mean Green Super Stud, The Wizard of Ooohs and Ahhhs, and of course the IROC Z. Wouldn’t that be a nice throwback? Give us your best name for this Camaro in the comments.
