Lamborghini Murcielago Burns in a Blaze of Glory
We always knew the Lamborghini Murcielago was a particularly hot car. It’s hard to think of a situation where over 600-horsepower wouldn’t be considered sizzling. But the owner of this one probably wouldn’t take kindly to our puns. Sizzle sizzle. Over the past weekend, this Murcielago – seemingly color-matched to Kermit the Frog – caught fire in Japan while passing over Tokyo’s famous Rainbow Bridge, giving passersby more than just cityscapes to watch. The fire looks to have started from within the Lambo’s engine bay, before licking its way up to the front of the Italian supercar.
Now that it’s wearing a new vibrant shade of red, it’s safe to say this Lamborghini has met the end of the line. But what a fitting and outrageous end to a fittingly outrageous bull. Better this, than being abandoned…
