Lexus Marks Special Anniversary with Crafted Line for F Sport

Special editions are a dime-a-dozen with some manufacturers, but Lexus is stepping up with something special for its upcoming 25th anniversary: The Crafted Line. It will be unveiled amidst the hoopla at Pebble Beach this weekend. The Crafted Line is largely a design exercise for Lexus but in a stepped up manner. It signals Toyota's luxury division is serious about competing at a higher level against makers like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz who have a firm grip on the sports luxury universe. The new line will only be available on Lexus' high performance F sport vehicles, making it more exclusive. The lineup marks a quarter century since Lexus first hit our shores in the form of the LS 400.
