Artist Creates Amazing Sci-Fi Supercar Concepts [Photo Gallery]
Imagine a world devoid of gas. That's right, gas, the object that largely fuels all the very vehicles we know and love. If you ask Elon Musk, that world may not be too far off, but for some of us — like graphic artist Khyzyl Saleem — a world without gasoline sounds more like a post-apocalyptic film genre. In Saleem's new personal project entitled *EVADE*, the idea of a world without fuel could separate the human race as we know it. He calls it a battle of "old vs. new," with then antiquated gas-powered vehicles acting as hero cars to new robotic technology and flying machines. But these aren't just your run-of-the-mill hero cars— oh no, they are so much cooler than that. PHOTOS: See More of the 2013 Ferrari LaFerrari
Seen here, the hero car group includes a Viper, an SLS, a McLaren P1, a Pagani, and a Sauber C9, just to name a few. There’s even a bad guy retro Mustang thrown in for good measure. It's definitely a unique idea, so we wanted to pick Khyzyl's brain and see exactly what this whole project is about, and where it goes from here:
“All these designs are conceptual art for my personal project *EVADE*, which I’m currently working on. I can’t really give out much information for it…but it will involve all sorts of supercars, sportscars, old school Le Mans cars, old F1 cars, etc., in a sort of hybrid future apocalypse form.”

While this all sounds amazing, Khyzyl admits that most of these concepts are just “experimental designs” to see what would work and what wouldn’t. His final *EVADE* project is still a few months off, but we can’t wait to see what other unique creations he comes up with.
