Tony Stewart Hits and Kills Driver During Sprint Car Race [w/Video]
Last night during a Sprint Car race at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in upstate New York, Tony Stewart hit and killed 20-year-old Kevin Ward Jr. when the driver got out of his car and stood on the track to confront Stewart. In the video seen below, it appears that Stewart and Ward became tangled during the race, forcing Ward’s car into the wall. Clearly upset, Ward went onto the track to confront Stewart and was then struck by his car, tossed down the track by the vehicle, and pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
