Haynes' Death Star Manual is the Ultimate Instructional Book in the Galaxy
It is quite seldom that the worlds of automotive and Star Wars intersect, but it is quite hard to overlook this particular case. A brand of manual that is well known to the car world happens to pertain to one really big, important item from the Star Wars universe.
Spend any time working on late model used cars and you are likely to have a collection Haynes manuals. They are the bible for a number of procedures, from replacing an oil filter to removing an intake manifold gasket. Haynes manuals provide instructions for everything short of a complete engine rebuild– and I’m sure some include that too.
So what is Haynes doing printing a manual for the Death Star of Star Wars lore? Do they know something that we don’t?
This manual has everything- from schematics of the various defenses, to the layout of the entire structure to the proper storage of a TIE Fighter. If you are a force-wielding Sith who is bent on building a weapon capable of destroying planets (but with a couple obvious vulnerabilities), the Death Star Haynes Manual will be a must-have piece of Imperial Paperwork.
