Quadski XL Delivers Two-Seat Joyriding for Trail and Water
The Quadski is something that has been making some news in recent months. It is the crazy combination of a jet ski and an ATV. This results in the ultimate toy for grownups. But what fun is it if you can’t take someone with you? That is why Gibbs has created a two-seat Quadski.
It has been nearly two years since Gibbs released the original Quadski, and videos of them caught in the wild have been making the rounds on YouTube. Now the Quadski XL has room for a passenger, in addition to the rider, making for the ultimate transforming redneck date ride.
Like the original single-occupant version, the Quadski XL is powered by a 1300cc 4-stroke inline-4 supplied by BMW. The engine makes 140 horsepower, which allows it to reach speeds of 45 mph on land and in the sea.
It is more than just a larger version of the original, as improvements were made to the bumpers, air scoops and rudders. Pricing has not yet been announced, but with the original Quadski reaching $40,000 we wouldn’t be surprised if the XL ran up another $5,0000-$10,000. Oh and if you thought we were being presumptuous about the hillbilly-swag nature of the Quadski XL, you can get a camouflage paint job for an additional $2,500.
