Ex-F1 Driver Eddie Irvine Keeps Good Company Aboard his $20 Million Yacht
The life of aging ex-F1 drivers appears to be a life of relaxation, occasional hill-climb events, and weekends in the Formula 1 paddock. That all sounds fantastic and exciting, but retirement for ex-F1 driver Eddie Irvine seems like the kind of party we could get used to. Irvine was recently photographed keeping a trio of bikini-clad girls company as they lounged aboard his $20 million yacht off the coast of Portofino, Italy. Irvine has been known to live quite the playboy lifestyle, although he does seem a bit preoccupied with his phone in pictures.

The 48-year old Irishman began racing professionally in 1983 before progressing beyond Formula Three, Formula 3000, and into Formula One in 1993 for Jordan. He would eventually race for Ferrari alongside Michael Schumacher, win four races in 1999 wearing the red suit, and score Jaguar Racing’s only podium.
Irvine was known to take a few risks, including unlapping himself around Ayrton Senna at the 1993 Japanese Grand Prix, a move Senna did not like and allegedly returned with a punch to the face after the race ended. Irvine currently faces legal trouble for a similar incident in which he fought with the son of the former mayor of Milan. Both men face six-month jail sentences, but due to a statute of limitations neither is likely to serve them.
Want to live life on a $20 million boat with European hunnies? Easy, just race in Formula One for about ten years, then start a property firm and shipping business like Eddie Irvine.
