Alfa Romeo Might Build An Even Hotter 4C
Alfa Romeo is back in the U.S., and the lovely little 4C coupe is the car that did it. Naturally, it comes with a premium price tag and will only be available in limited numbers, but don’t think Alfa is stopping there, oh no. In fact, they might build an even quicker 4C. According to Car and Driver, in an interview with Alfa CEO Harald Wester, the current 1.75-liter engine — at only 237 horsepower — means “there is space” for even more power. That could mean an Alfa with even more oomph. PHOTOS: See More of the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C
Whether a hotter 4C is on the horizon has yet to be seen. But we can say that with a bit more boost the 4C has the prowess to compete with the likes of the Porsche Cayman GTS, which would be a worthy competitor.
Either way, the Alfa Romeo 4C goes on sale in the U.S. later in the year for about $68,000 after it’s all said and done. An even more powerful version would set buyers back even further than that.
