Aston Martin Lagonda Sedan Could Be Built This Year
The Lagonda isn’t dead yet — long live the Lagonda! According to a number of new reports, the Lagonda may be living a reborn life in the Aston Martin lineup as soon as this summer, being developed exclusively by Aston Martin’s Q department. According to CAR Magazine, “fewer than 100 units are mooted,” when the car becomes available this summer. Other details include the use of an Aston Martin V12 and an updated eight-speed automatic gearbox, with somewhere near 600 horsepower on tap. PHOTOS: See More of the 2009 Aston Martin Lagonda Concept
Early spy shots and renders (shown here) suggest that the Lagonda will take a slightly edgier approach from the standard Aston lineup including a sharper C pillar, a more aggressive front end, and a sleeker rear. The good news though, is that it keeps it will remain a sports sedan rather than the SUV we saw back in 2009.
Official details on the new Lagonda though won’t be available until later this summer, if reports hold true.
