Ferrari Planning Product Onslaught Including 458 Turbo, LaFerrari Spyder
If you like Ferrari, then you’re gonna love this news. A new report from the folks at Automobile Magazine tells us that we better hunker down and prepare for a storm of product from Ferrari in the next few years, including enhancements to cars like the 458, LaFerrari, FF and F12. Let's start from the top. As we’ve reported previously, a new 458 is coming — and soon. Aside from a minor makeover, this new 458 will feature both a turbocharged V6 and a V8 with somewhere around 670 horsepower. It’s reportedly headed to next year’s Geneva Motor show. Along with a new 458 will come a track-focused and a convertible variant of the LaFerrari. The LaFerrari FXX will feature somewhere near 1,050 horsepower and have a limited run of just 30 units. As for a LaFerrari Spyder, it won’t gain much in power but it will lose a top and cost somewhere close to the $2M mark.
Other news includes a more power FF coming in 2016, and a new and improved F12 the same year. Of course, it will also come with more power and a new face. From 2017 on, rumor has it that Ferrari will delve into a bit more research surrounding electric drivetrain technology, although much of that has yet to be seen.
