GTA Online Get Seven New Cars from 'Hipster' DLC
It’s time to barricade yourself away with your console once again. Grand Theft Auto Online just added the “I’m Not a Hipster” update, and it brings with it a slew of familiar rides for your crashing/driving/jumping/carjacking enjoyment. We’ll cut to the chase – yes, that is the Mercedes-Benz AMG 6x6, rebranded in typical GTA fashion as the Benefactor Dubsta 6x6. It won’t be available to every player yet though; you’ll have to reach level 100 for that honor. The rest of the cars are available regardless of level, however. Rounding out the Mercedes-Benz theme is the Benefactor Glendale (an ‘80s W123 sedan) and the Benefactor Panto (a Smart ForTwo). Somebody over at Rockstar has an eye for Mercs it seems. Performance enthusiasts get to give the Vapid Blade a spin (Ford Falcon), as well as the Vulcar Warrener (C10 Nissan Skyline sedan). Volkswagen makes an appearance with the mutant Declasse Rhapsody (Mk.1 Golf with an AMC Gremlin hatch). And French auto fans will like the Lampadati Pigalle, which picks up significant inspiration from the Citroën SM.
Like many of the other cars offered at launch, these seven rides can be customized – from tastefully ‘stanced’ all the way to the absurd. Also, players will no longer be charged insurance costs if another player destroys their vehicle online. The update is available now, happy gaming!
