1,000HP McLaren P1 GTR Track Toy Coming in 2015
If you’re insane and don’t think the McLaren P1 is focused enough for the track, we have some good news. According to McLaren, they’re already working on a more track-focused P1 that will bear the iconic GTR moniker, and that same massive wing. Available exclusively to current P1 owners, the P1 GTR will be Britain's ultimate track toy with 1,000 horsepower and a whopping $3.3M (£1.98M, €2.48M) price tag. That’s about an 85 horsepower increase over the standard P1. PHOTOS: See More of the 2014 McLaren P1 GTR Concept
Other new features will include a more aggressive design front and back, new wheels, new tires, and a massive fixed wing all there to “offer optimized performance around a lap.”
Production of this posh P1 though won’t begin until all 375 road-going P1’s have been completed and delivered, just in time for the F1 GTR’s 25th anniversary in 2015.

And like the F1 GTR, McLaren says that the P1 GTR will take part in a minimum of six international racing events.
