Mercedes released the teaser image in the AMG Owners Lounge over a week ago, and now the car junkies at Autojunk.nl have snapped some fresh images of the SL 65 AMG Black Series wearing some new revealing camouflage.
Despite being heavily taped up, it's the precision of the taping job which shows the majority of body details. The upclose and personal photos show the overall widebody contours with the resculptured front bumper fascia, DTM-esque wheel arch flares, rear bumper fascia design and new 20-inch wheels. Also, the roof/windshield pillar shows no seams for a retractable hard top denoting a fixed roof. Head over to autojunk.nl for full size images.
The SL 65 AMG Black Series will receive a boosted version of its 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 up to 680 hp. With only 350 units to be sold the SL Black Series will reach a top speed of 220 mph but electronically limited to 186 mph (300 km/h), 0-60 mph rushe by in less than 4.0 seconds.
