Sir Patrick Stewart Goes Into Warp Drive with the McLaren 650S
With it’s futuristic looks and out-of-this-world performance, some would say that the new McLaren 650S is a modern-day spaceship for the road. So who else would be more qualified to pilot such a machine other than Sir Patrick Stewart — aka, Star Trek’s Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Taking to the wheel of the McLaren in Spain on a recent press outing, Stewart seemed pretty enthralled with the whole experience. He even tweeted out a picture to Jeremy Clarkson with the caption:

.@JeremyClarkson Sorry neighbour but I think, for once, I got there before you. pic.twitter.com/WPW7bRyT74 — Patrick Stewart (@SirPatStew) April 6, 2014PHOTOS: See More of the McLaren 650S Spider And how could we blame him? The 641-horsepower McLaren 650S is more powerful, and arguably better looking than the 12C that it replaces. It even gets 25 mpg and reaches 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. We just love the thought of Stewart driving around in one of these supercars, using the phrase “Engage warp drive!"
